Men's Ministry

Jacksonville First United Methodist Church has numerous activities specifically for the men in the church. Men's Prayer Group Men's Prayer Group meets every other Monday at 6:00am for prayer. Please call the church (435-6021) or see the Newsletter for dates. MENistries MENistries is the men's ministry group at Jacksonville First United Methodist Church. The group meets on the second Saturday of each month in the Fellowship Hall. Breakfast is served promptly (usually) at 8:00am. After a good meal we discuss unfinished and future business followed by our guest speaker. Our speakers are Christian leaders and key lay persons from our local community and other ministries across Alabama, and, occasionally, worldwide. The service ministry of the group is to facilitate the success of various Christian projects and ministries which we consider timely and in present need of the type support that MENistries can provide. A cordial invitation is extended to all men of Jacksonville First United Methodist Church to come out and join with us. We believe you will be blessed by the experience and challenged, as we all have been, to contribute to some of the more satisfying Christian ministries around.
