Are you between the ages of 18 and 20-something? If so, the Young Adult Ministry of Jax First UMC offers a place to hang out and find a way forward in life. Whether you are a JSU student, you’re starting out in the working world, or you’re a budding young professional, there’s a place for you.
Young Adult Small Group
Wednesday Nights 4:30 p.m.
Age Range - 18+
Our Young Adult small group meets every week on a weeknight to enjoy each other’s company and discuss topics of relevance to the place we are in life. Each week is different based on what the group wants to do.
Like Sunday morning Sunday School, this small group is for college students, recent graduates, and young professionals. We use various study books and meet at a local coffee shop.

Sunday Mornings at 10:15 a.m.
Age Range - 18+
Our Young Adult class is a small group of believers who want to further study God’s Word and share what we have learned in our daily life. We hope to help each other grow in our walk of faith.
The class is for college students, recent graduates, and young professionals. Everyone is welcome.
Our weekly study format consists of a variety of books, videos and study of the books of the Bible.

JSU Wesley Foundation
Our church has a close relationship with the Jacksonville State University Wesley Foundation. We provide financial support and gifts of food, and church members are involved in various ways including serving on their Board of Directors.
